PROJECT SET UP
The Setup of the projects will be done on Monday, September 23, 2019, from 09:00hrs to 14:00hrs.
Booth inspection will be from 14:00 to 15:00 to carry out a review of the settled projects, for this, the projects set up must be completely finished and installed in the place that was assigned to them.
Sound and Music
In order not to interfere with the presentations and out of respect for the projects and their exhibitions, you should not set loud music at the stand.
Safety
For safety reasons, it is essential not to leave the stand unattended at any time and not to expose things that can easily get lost (laser pointers, laptops, photo or video cameras, etc.).
Participants must respect the spaces assigned to each project and will not be able to change their place. Besides, for no reason, they can take furniture or accessories from the adjacent stands, to do so, the organising committee will determine the sanction to said action.
Badges
To have access to the facilities and the activities, participants must wear their ExpoSciences badge at any time. There will be no replacement of the badge on the venue, those who lose or forget their badge could print a copy on their own. Participants will receive an email with a link to access relevant documents including a copy of the badge.
PROJECT PRESENTATION
All projects must be completely settled, and participants must be present at the exhibition times as follow:
• Tuesday, September 24 (9:00 to 16:00)
• Wednesday, September 25 (9:00 to 16:00)
• Thursday, September 26 (9:00 to 16:00)
Each participating project will have a booth (1 Table, two chairs, Two 13 Amp ( 220 Volts Power Plugs) and a Header).
The measures of the stand are Depth: 3m, Width: 3m and Height: 2.4 meters.
The header will include Name of the Project, Flag, name of the country number of the booth, Category name.
In UAE, the connection type is 220/240 V, 50 Hz AC; so we ask you to bring your adapters for the connectors of your appliances. Type G or 13 amp plugs adapters may be used.
Poster Specifications
The necessary information that should be showcased in the poster is:
• Abstract
• Introduction
• Hypothesis
• Materials & Methods
• Results
• Conclusion
• References
Although the design is free, participants can place:
• 9 posters (0.85 x 1.5m) or
• 3 posters (2.80 x 1.5 m) 1 for each wall of the booth
Participants can mount their posters, canvas or cardboard on the walls, as long as they do not damage the integrity of the stand. If the booth is harmed or mistreated, you can get an economic penalty.
It is recommended to use Pritt sticky tac; the use of adhesive tapes (Duct tape, masking tape, packaging tape, etc.) is prohibited.
Relevant: The Organising Committee will not provide any type of material to carry out the presentation of the project (computers, projectors, electric extensions, etc.).
It is the responsibility of each participant to bring the necessary materials for the installation and presentation of the project.
Content of the poster may avoid topics related to religion, politics, race, gender, culture, nudity. The organising committee reserves the right to remove any banner they deem inappropriate.
